A case of so near and yet so far in National League super-Sunday.
All 8 teams gathered at ESC, in the morning San Marco's Grange faced Aberdeen 1 with the pictured line-up...

We tied with Aberdeen on matches 2-2 but lost on games countback 6-8. Making it 6-11 incl win bonus.        

After a lovely curried chicken breast & pakora lunch by the host club, we faced the hosts on court... this time Will Kerr and Donna Cruickshank came in at #3 & 4.

 We tied with Edinburgh Sports Club on matches 2-2, tied on games 6-6 but lost on points countback 97-108!
Still a good haul of 12 points from the day leaves us in 5th place in the league.

Well done to Douglas Kempsell who remains unbeaten; Kevin Moran who not only is unbeaten, he has yet to drop a game. Catherine John, Gordon Sloan, Donna Cruickshank and Will Kerr played their hearts out and did the club proud.
